Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actor in England since the 1980s. In 1990 there was speculation that she might have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. Hurley has been a part of Grant in his role, which was then being the focus of media all over the world due to the box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her dress was designed by Versace featured a plunging neckline as well as gold safety pins. The highlight of Hurley's professional career has been her involvement with the cosmetics firm Estee Lauder. Hurley was granted the first model contract she was offered at age 29, and she's been using her to model Estee Lader products since the year 1995. Her most well-known film role was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley is now a model and the designer of the eponymous Beachwear line. The track quickly caused controversy as some critics derided it for promoting same-sex relations and others charged that the racy scenario it depicted catered to male fantasies of sexuality among females. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single due to its combination of sexual enticement and a refined tune. It also helped her sell more albums, including the album One of the Boys. Hot N Cold is a popular second track. Perry also wrote a large portion of the lyrics on the album.
